  • Take around 2 cups of heavy cream and add about 1 tablespoon of curd to it, leave it outside for about 7 to 8 hours.
  • Then refrigerate the cream for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Add cold water to this cream and blend in a food processor, till butter separates leaving buttermilk behind.
  • Remove the butter and wash it a few times, then keep this butter to heat and melt into ghee. 
  • When the butter starts boiling, you can stir it a few times. 
  • Once it is all boiled the golden leftover is the pure ghee, you can let it cool for a few hours and then strain it into a container.
