HIV and AIDS

What are HIV and AIDS?

HIV

Also called as Human Immunodeficiency Virus(HIV). HIV is the first stage of HIV AIDS. HIV is the initial stage of infection occupied in a human body through various reasons that result in various conditions that demotivate the body to disease.

HIV generally does not show any symptoms in the body that one could identify the infection and take the necessary medication.

In fact, HIV is dangerous for the same reason it cannot be identified in the early stage. This lack of identification gradually allows the infection to grow up to further stages in the body making all the worst damages in the body.

There are four stages in HIV Infection.

Stages of Infection – (assuming no treatment)

Stage 1: HIV Infection/origin of HIV infection

Stage 2: Asymptomatic

Stage 3: Symptomatic

Stage 4: AIDS/Progression of HIV to AIDS.

Symptoms of HIV stage 1

Even though the initial or the origin of HIV AIDS infection does not showcase severe repursions, there are still systematic analyses to figure out the chances of HIV infection in the body. HIV is the first stage of overall HIV AIDS stages and the first stage also showcases some symptoms if one is alert and observative.

Acute HIV Infection results in fever, chills, rash, night sweats, muscle aches, sore throat, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, etc.

The initial stage symptoms are generally bearable and look like normal body diseases that most of the victims are able to think are no result of infection but simply body diseases and attempt to cure them with simple medications or simply leave them until they disappear.

Symptoms of HIV stage2

Even though stage 2 HIV is also asymptomatic, one can see some common symptoms like opportunistic infection, headache, oral thrush, mouth thrush, pneumonia, red blotches, severe unintentional weight loss, skin rash, or swollen lymph nodes.

AIDS

Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome(AIDS) is considered a familiar repulsive monster in mankind born on its own.

HIV causes AIDS and gets involved with the body's ability to fight infections.

No cure exists for AIDS, but strict sticking to antiretroviral regimens (ARVs) could gradually slow the disease's progress, also prevent secondary infections and complications.

AIDS is another name for HIV AIDS and is the final stage in the complete HIV infection.

HIV/AIDS

HIV/AIDs is the most common sexually transmitted disease. If someone is anyhow aware of STDs or STIs, the whole credit goes to the disease called HIV AIDs.

What is an STD?

STDs is an abbreviation for Sexually Transmitted Diseases. The same diseases can be considered as Sexually Transmitted Infections which are abbreviated as STIs. STDs or STIs are diseases or infections transmitted through sexual contact, developed by shared bacteria, viruses, or parasites.

A disease or an infection related to the sexual transmission could be born then and there itself during sex between two uninfected persons who are subjected to earlier sex with other persons. In another way, the infected person may share a virus or parasite with an uninfected person during a sexual course. It is more of an uncertain infection, most of the STDs require a medical diagnosis.

Causes of HIV AIDS

The virus can be transmitted through contact with infected blood, semen, or vaginal fluids.

Blood products such as unclean needles or unscreened blood when shared publicly could raise a chance of spreading infection from one person to another or giving birth to infection on mixing of one genetics to another genetics.

Intercourse unprotected vaginal, anal, or oral sex.

Transmission from mother to baby by pregnancy, labor, or nursing.

Symptoms of HIV AIDS

Once HIV infection is induced, flu-like symptoms such as fever, sore throat, and fatigue could occur. HIV is usually asymptomatic until it develops into AIDS.

AIDS symptoms include weight loss, fever or night sweats, fatigue, and recurrent infections.

People may experience pain in various parts of the body under the influence of HIV AIDs infection.

The most affected part of the body due to HIV AIDS is the abdomen. As the abdomen is settled just way above the groin area where the genitals are presented and intended for sexual activity through HIV could come into the body as the sexually transmitted infection, the abdomen becomes the first fast and the most affected part of the body.

The infection induced in the abdomen could damage digestion and respiration. The digestion would not stay in a normal condition once the virus started living in the abdomen or deeply into the intestine. The improper digestive system impacts the immunity and metabolism of the body thereby damaging the whole body mechanism.

The improper digestive system results in various gastrointestinal problems namely nausea, persistent diarrhea, vomiting, or watery diarrhea. The day-by-day persistence of such conditions leads to complete damage of the digestive system that would only leave with death but nothing.
