  • You can also bring your hands behind your heels and hold on to this position, this can be difficult for people who are just beginning. 
  • While coming out of this pose, inhale deeply and slowly stand on your feet. 

Adho Mukha Svanasana 

Adho mukha svanasana is also commonly known as the downward-facing dog pose. This pose is known for its capabilities to grow hair at a much faster pace and also helps in preventing hair loss. When people perform this pose their head is in a downward-facing position which helps in improving blood circulation to your head. This stimulates the hair follicles and brings them strength. 

How to do Adho Mukha svanasana 

  • Start by stand on your four limbs
  • Gently exhale and lift your hips, straighten your elbows and knees, making sure that your body is in a V position.
  • Make sure that your hands are in line with your shoulders, and your feet are in line with your hips, alignment is the main thing about yoga.
  • Make sure that your toes are pointed outwards and press your hands on the ground. 
  • A lot of new practitioners can not hold this pose for a few seconds, however, it is advised that you do hold for at least 5-8 seconds. Then bend your knees and return to your normal position. 

Vajrasana pose

Vajrasana is also known as the diamond pose, one unique thing about this asana is that it is practiced after meals. This asana not only helps in digestion but also keeps the spine straight and helps in back problems. 

Improper digestion and constipation make it impossible for our hair to receive enough supply of nutrients in the scalp cells, which causes breakage and damage. With regular practice, Vajrasana can improve digestion and also can help in reducing your hair fall.

How to do Vajrasana 

  • Start by sitting on the floor with your spine straight, make sure your heels are together.
  • Then place your hands by your side, make sure your palms are facing the ground.
  • Fold both your legs, keeping them under your thighs
  • Then place both of your hands on your upper thighs.
  • Sit in a relaxed position, breathe in and out, you can perform this asana after every meal for 5-8 minutes.
